Wesley Smith Leaves Dixie Echoes

According to their Facebook page, Wesley Smith has turned in his resignation to the Dixie Echoes.  This follows closely on the heels of bass singer Trent Adams departure, leaving the group needing to fill both the tenor and bass positions.  The Dixie Echoes have become something unique in the industry, as they are a throwback to the golden era of quartets.  No tracks, no stacks, just piano, bass, and four voices.  Hopefully they will be able to fill both positions fairly quickly and smoothly.

One Response to Wesley Smith Leaves Dixie Echoes

  1. D. Sweet says:

The Dixie Echoes are one of the last southern gospel groups that have such a unique method of presenting their music. They are certainly the gentlemen they present as and their talents are so awesome. Even Daddy Paul is terrific!!!
