Live Blog/Twitter From BFA

So I actually did try live blogging some last night during the concert.  Now here’s where you guys get to help me out.  Did any of you follow the blogging on the twitter page?  What did you think?  Is it something you’d like to see me continue, what can I do to improve it?  Drop a comment and let me know.  Personally, it was pretty enjoyable to do, but if no one enjoyed it, I’ll spend the time watching and chasing my kids!  🙂

  1. I’ve seen people pull off embedding the Twitter feed in the post itself. Might you have gotten more traffic by trying that?

That’s an idea…but I’d want to append subsequent tweets to the same blog post, instead of each tweet being an individual blog post. I’ll look into that and see if it’s possible. The sidebar widget I don’t think is quite intuitive enough, nor does it really stand out.

I followed and thought you did a great job… I try to twitter at the concerts I go too… Usually I get so caught up in how good the concert was that I forget about it! I am going to a Mark Trammel Quartet concert next Thursday and a Gaither Homecoming next Friday… I will try again at both venues… I however record and write and do other things… I like taking my girlfriend she will take notes for me… (she has a degree in music theory so I trust her opinions!) and I do the recording and twittering! 🙂 When I fly solo I have to cut the twittering usually just don’t have time!

Cool, thanks Nate! It does get to be a lot, I was trying to take pictures, do the twitter thing, and keep up the setlist on my iPad. Plus I was trying to keep my 3 year old from running all over the church…a job in and of itself! That’s why I didn’t tweet much the second half of the concert. I’m going to try and go to a Remember The Music concert next month that’s here in the area, and will try live blogging it as well.

Didn’t follow it live, but looked at it once and liked what I saw so far…

I didn’t follow it live either, but I enjoyed reading the tweets after the fact!
