Gold City’s 80s Supergroup Reuniting Again

On the home page for Bill Bailey’s concerts, he is advertising his Winter Gospel Music Convention in Palmetto, FL for February 6-10, 2012. Right under the headline for Ronnie Milsap is the intriguing bit of information that the classic 80s lineup of Gold City (Free, Parker, Lefevre, Riley) will be reuniting. Closer inspection of the concert schedule reveals that the reunion will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 7:00 PM.
The reunion that some said would never happen, will now have taken place twice in an 18 month span. As both an SG blogger and Gold City fan, may I just say WE WANT A FULL FLEDGED GOLD CITY REUNION VIDEO!!!!! Oh, and preferably available on BluRay/DVD combo.
That is all.
That is going to be one knock out of a show. I met Tim once in Shelby, NC. He is a very good man. And GC never sounded better than in the 80′s!

Gold City’s 80s Supergroup Reuniting Again is 80% GREAT ! If Garry Jones, the men that made the music for Gold City was there…it would be 100% Great. Garry played a very big part in Gold Citys best days….the songs, the sound and the records.
I agree on the reunion video and I agree that Garry should be involved. He doesn’t get enough credit sometimes for his contributions IMHO.
I absolutely love the Gold City from the 80′s. Their message of Christ through music has lifted me up so many times. I would love to see them again. This is July of 2012 and I hope that they do another reunion close to my home. God Bless Them!
