Brandon over at Coomer Cove has the scoop that Gold City is bringing back a live band. This is confirmation of what SN forums poster JChaz floated on the SN boards. Great news, and I hope that this continues. I’ll also add my hopes that Adam Borden rejoins GC. Borden is a great bass player, and a super nice guy.

I must say thanks for the kind words but I must confirm something. Whether this is a rumor or the truth I will not be rejoining Gold City. Nothing against the guys or the group but the Good Lord has given me a great life off the road with a good job, a tremendous church http://www.middletennesseebaptist.org and the opportunity to see my children grow up first hand instead of over the phone or in pix messages. I enjoy several opportunities to play music at my church, on recording sessions and through my growing song demo service. I would not trade my time with Gold City but that chapter is closed.
