An Interesting Find

We went to my mother in law’s Saturday both for me to fix a computer problem and to spend the evening with her, and while we were out and about after dinner, we stopped at the local Dollar General to pick up some graduation and birthday cards (I highly recommend getting your cards there, they are really cheap!). I was browsing through a display box of CDs, and in the midst of the “Greatest Hits of the 70s” and the like, I found a CD by Johnny Cook called “He’s The Real Thing.” I’ve not had a chance to really listen to it yet, I put it in after we bought it, but with conversations and two sleepy, whiny kids, I really didn’t get to listen all that well. Still, who would have thought that a classic Johnny Cook solo album could be found on CD at the Dollar General in Somerville, TN.
