Return of The Imperials

The Singing News has now posted the January chart online.  EH&SS are #1, not unexpectedly, but a nice surprise is that The Imperials have returned to the top 20 of the SN charts.  “All That Matters To The Lord” sits at #19 for January.  This may be the highest the Imperials have charted on the SN chart since the Russ Taff days, maybe even since “Oh Buddha”, now nearly 30 years ago.  These guys have a great sound, and it is good to see the revival of such a legendary group.  Here’s hoping we see continued success from The Imperials, as SG really needs them.  No sign of Darth Vader or Jedi Master Mace Windu anywhere, though.
